Napkins Folded Like Envelopes Anyone?…. Anyone?

So I recently stumbled upon a video on AskMen on how to fold napkins into envelopes. This is a cool trick, which could easily turn a little….nerdy to put it nicely. So as I always say, it’s all about delivery! Where, when, how, to who.

So honestly, please don’t try this in any other places than these few events:

A restaurant on someone’s birthday

You may have noticed I only put one thing. That’s because this is the only place where this is remotely acceptable. Maybe if you’re a hopeless romantic and you want to put a love note in your significant other’s napkin at a home cooked dinner, go for it, besides that, this is a nice step up from the usual boring colored envelopes they have at the card store, present them with the card (if that’s all you’re giving) in the napkin at the restaurant.

Do NOT, try this at weddings, for god-sake if it’s a fancy one, you’ll have 30 waiters coming over to put it in your lap like they do at the 5-star places.

BONUS ROUND: So I figured as I was about to post this, wait, how about hitting on your waitress at a diner or something? When leaving, maybe put the bill and your number in the napkin-envelope, with the top OPENED so she can see you paid. Make sure you’re paying in cash though so she won’t have to fake a reaction for your own expense if you’re sitting there.

Be a Man: Part 3, Your Attitude

One of the biggest parts of being a man is the attitude. If you don’t have it, just projecting it will usually make you have it. It’s an odd effect. Trying to project confidence, usually makes you confident. This confidence feeds off of itself as people attach themselves to you because of this projected confidence.

Confidence isn’t the only thing that needs to be included in your attitude though.

Here are the main things that should be mixed with the way you act:

Confidence- as I said, it spawns off of itself
Spontaneity- 99% of the world does the same old same old every day, a movie-like figure who pops in and makes everyday an adventure is the kind of thing people would kill for.
Zero Tolerance for Betrayal- outright betrayal is unforgivable, and your zero tolerance will make you look like less of a sucker when it happens again to someone else, which it will.

Sometimes, people aren’t comfortable with themselves so they’ll try and make you feel awkward. Just keep your cool. Most of the time people will laugh along, DON’T. This is simply not cool, and only shows that you’re afraid of what they can do. Just stare, like whatever they just said or did is going over your head and you’re not even comprehending what they’re doing.

Hey Everyone, Guess Whos Back

Hey guys, I’ve been gone for a while I’m going to give you a summary of what my life has been like since my last update, you’ll understand why I’ve been so busy:

-School, not exactly my thing, so I’ve had to focus a bit.

-MMA, I train in MMA and go to classes usually 3-4 times a week, taking up a lot of my free time after school.

-Drinking, first off, let me say…spiced rum is the devil. Secondly…yeah it’s been taking up a bit of my time.

-Potential Arrests. On mischief night I was drinking and got freaked out on by a cop who called for BACKUP which freaked me and the guys out a bit, but in the end I just got yelled at because I “fit the identity” of a man who had set a few trash cans on fire. I wish I was that awesome…it was eggs all night for me.

-A lot more crap I can’t even remember.

By now I’m guessing you’re getting sick and tired of hearing about my life, so let me tell you what’s happening with this site…some of the new entries will include:

-Some pretty sick and easy to do MMA moves I’ve been learning, turn a handshake into a broken arm?

-Cool stuff that all guys should do before settling down.

-Also, a new blog is in the works as of last night. I’m laying out the groundwork for “Crucial” a man’s blog about products, clothes, music, books, movies, women, etc that ALL men should recognize. A link to it will be up soon.

How to Perform the Stigmata

Stigmata, that crazy card trick in which the spectator picks a card, and you make that number appear on your arm without even knowing the card. I found a pretty good explanation how to do it, and with some practice, it seems easy with a big payoff.

Hoodie in the Dryer

So after a lady-friend sleeps over, being a gentlemen is the best way to make up for the long night of drunken debauchery that just took place. If you wake up from your alcohol induced coma first, pop her hoodie in the dryer so when she leaves.It’ll be nice and toasty, a warm reminder of how awesome and thoughtful you are, and a very good reason for her to forget that you’re a sloppy drunk at night.

Be careful of shrinking or ruining the fabric. And no, you don’t have to wet the thing first.

Window Pickle Races

So we all get bored eating at McDonalds, Burger King, or whatever fine fast food establishment you might be at tonight. So grab some pickles and some ketchup and get yourself a nice window seat, this trick is easy. Get a friend to race, and put some ketchup on one side of your pickle. Slap it on the window. Ready, set, go.
